The most important issue facing the School Board today is maintaining a balanced, responsible budget in a challenging funding environment. Rising costs, fluctuating revenues, and increasing demands on our schools require disciplined leadership and clear priorities.

Half measures will not solve the problem. We need strong, experienced leadership and a clear direction to protect our financial stability, stop the continued depletion of reserves, and ensure our resources are focused on student success.

I have the experience and determination to solve this issue and to keep focused on the goal of re-establishing our reserves at an acceptable level. Restraint from spending is the key.
