Through my service on the School Board from 2014–2018 and today:
Eliminated a $12 million deficit and built a $14 million reserve
Helped improve district performance from a C rating to a B+
Delivered results through fiscal responsibility and accountability
Re-elected in 2022 and currently seeking to continue serving our community
I bring proven experience managing large budgets and making decisions that respect taxpayers while improving student outcomes.

I am a husband, father, and grandfather with children and grandchildren in public schools across multiple states. I understand firsthand the challenges facing:

Support SROs, guardians, and school safety measures
Support and maintain truancy court to promote attendance and accountability for both students and parents

Recognize and support teachers, bus drivers, custodians, and staff
Advocate for policies that allow teachers to focus on teaching, including reducing paperwork through support staff where possible
Parent & Community Engagement
Provide clarity, openness, and honesty in School Board decision-making
Offer resources to assist families with scholarships, educational opportunities, and career pathways
